now

what has my attention at the moment.

The Switch

I closed the chapter on energy infrastructure this summer. Two years of grid connection work taught me plenty, including that I want to build things, not administer them. So I'm using the next months to go deep on the technical side: Python, Linux, Git, hardware prototyping (ESP32, Raspberry Pi), CAD, and AI automation, shipping visible projects along the way.

Studies

Fourth semester at KIT, figuring out my specialization. Running with KIT Run a few times a week, Judo at BCK when the schedule allows.

Community

Growing the YFN Karlsruhe chapter with an amazing team, with regular events and partners like OpenAI, JetBrains, Siemens, and Bosch.

Since june i also represent OpenAI's Codex program as ambassador in Karlsruhe: workshops and events on AI-assisted engineering, 100+ people reached so far.

Still running Eisbaden Karlsruhe: weekly cold plunges, year-round, +320% members since I took over in october 2024. Next up: a medical study with students from local universities.

Building

Shipping hardware projects end-to-end: an AI e-ink note taker, a GPS tracker, TinyML vision systems, and a running pace robot. Everything lives on the projects page and github.
